Q: Why didn’t the recipe work?
A: Without being in the kitchen with you to see what was happening, it is hard to tell. There are so many factors that can alter a recipe, from unclean equipment, humidity, improper measuring, uncalibrated oven, your mood (I really believe that cooking and baking with love makes a difference in the outcome). Leave me a comment and we can brain storm solutions together!
Q: Do you cook all day, everyday?
A: Not at this time. I am a Clinical Social Worker in a Seattle area hospital and I create recipes when I am not at work.
Q: Did you come up with all these recipes?
A: Yes, all recipes are my own original recipes unless stated otherwise.
Q: Do you eat all the food you make?
A: My husband and I share most of the dishes with our colleagues and friends. We do try it first 🙂
Q: How long have you been married?
A: My husband, Hussein and I have been married for five years.
Q: When did you realize cooking was your calling?
A: I’ve been cooking and baking since I was a child and always knew I was good at it. It was an unsaid expectation that I go to college and so I did. After getting settled in my social work career, the kitchen became my way to decompress everything I had seen and heard at work.
