  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3¾ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  4. Knead for five minutes and place into a greased bowl. Cover with a towel and allow dough to rise for 45 minutes.

  6. Brush dough with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  8. Carefully roll the dough into a spiral.
  9. Use a very sharp knife, in a sawing motion, to cut the cinnamon rolls into 2 inch sections.
  10. Spray a 9x13 dish with cooking spray.
  11. Place cinnamon rolls in baking dish and allow to rise for a minimum of 20 minutes.
  12. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  13. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  14. Make frosting by mixing together powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla.
  15. Allow cinnamon rolls to cool and spread the frosting on top.
  16. Enjoy 🙂

  1. Hi Amanda!

This is by far my favorite recipe! I was very excited about the fact that I could make cinnamon rolls at home because I only ate them from Cinnabon or other places that serve them (like Skillet). They are one of my favorite treats and I am so happy that you shared this recipe so that I (and I am sure a lot of other people) can make these yummy treats at home with an easy to follow recipe. I look forward to trying more recipes.
