Date, Walnut and Coconut Treats

A delicious, healthy and super easy dessert option! A few simple ingredients and you can have a tasty treat made in less than ten minutes. These are perfect during Ramadan, when dates are eaten to break fast.

  • Prep: 15 mins


1In a food processor, blend pitted dates and coconut oil until a smooth paste forms

2Add in walnuts and coconut, pulse a few times until incorporated with the dates

3Using a small ice cream scoop, form balls of dates and place on parchment paper

4Melt white chocolate and use a plastic sandwich bag with the tip cut off to drizzle over the top

5Allow to set

6Enjoy 🙂


1 1/2 cups medlooj dates, pitted

1/2 cup whole walnuts

1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1/4 cup white chocolate, optional
