Watermelon Basil Bliss

One of my favorite signs of summer are watermelons! Refreshing on their own, they are perfect during the hot days. This Watermelon Basil Bliss recipe is easy and so delicious! 

Watermelon Feta Jalapeno Salad 

Watermelon works great with sweet and savory preparations and I love the balance of the two in this drink! If you have a sweet melon, feel free to omit the sugar and let the natural sweetness shine.

Watermelon Basil Bliss

Serves: 6
  • 8 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup sugar, optional
  • Basil leaves for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  1. Using your blender, combine watermelon, basil, lime and sugar (if using).
  2. Blend until smooth. You may wish to strain the drink but that is optional.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil and lime wedge. Enjoy!
